SprinkCAD Tutorial

This is the latest tutorial for users of SprinkCAD Pro II and N1. This is the same material used in our SprinkCAD 101 online training course.

Update for N1 Users
Fix for the 'Error opening stocklist database file' issue. Download the following file to your computer and then RUN it. This installs the Borland Database Engine (BDE) files and drivers, allowing SprinkCAD N1 to access the stocklist database file.
Minor update for N1 16.4.4
This file is for users of N1 16.4.4 who are getting the error "a license for SprinkCAD Pro II could not be found" when attempting to run certain operations.
We recommend that you install the newest version available in the Current Software section of the Downloads area. However, if you prefer to download this smaller update file and install it manually, this will fix the error condition.
- Download this file to a convenient location on your computer
- Unzip the contents directly to the PRG folder under your SrinkCAD N1 folder (normally located in C:\Program Files)

Reading the hydraulic report
Download and print this PDF file if you, or a reviewer, have questions about the format of the new hydraulic report.
This report is based on the current version of NFPA 13, with an eye toward the soon-to-be-mandated changes in the 2007 edition.
Please note that we CANNOT continue to support the "A", "C", or "D" report styles from previous versions of SprinkCAD Pro II. However, this new report conforms as closely as possible to the sample hydraulic report that has been a part of NFPA 13 for decades. Furthermore, this new report includes an improved Node Data table and complete pipe data for sprigs and drops.
