Multi-Level Piping - The Use of Common Connection Points (Updated 3-16-2007)
Common Connection Points and Section References are the SprinkCAD tools for drawing multi-level piping, that is, piping which would occupy the same plan space if the true 3D model were viewed from directly overhead.
SprinkCAD allows you to draw multiple levels of pipe side-by-side, which makes plotting and design easier for multiple-levels of racks, floors, overhead doors, or stacked express runs. But the program understands your design in 3D, with the help of these tools.
